In this course students of MSc Tech Part II (Mathematics) will study linear ordinary differential equations (ODE) with constant and variable coefficients, Sturm
Liouville theory, the Legendre equations, the Euler equations, second order equations
with regular singular points, the Bessel equation, regular singular points at infinity, method of successive approximations, the Lipschitz
condition and convergence of the successive approximation.
