This course is delivered to the students of the B.Sc.- M.Sc. (Integrated) degree at their Semester-II.
The course includes understanding of various physiological processes in the mammalian system. The processes may include Digestion and Absorption, Circulation, Muscle physiology, Osmoregulation as well as the Nervous and Endocrine coordination mechanisms.
The course also offers interface of nanotechnology and mammalian physiology with emphasis of various fates of nanomaterials in the body as well as an overview of Medical nanotechnology.
