The course Manufacturing Engineering II deals with the study of various Non Conventional Processes. The important part of manufacturing is understanding the manufacturing technology. This basically needs to understand the forming processes, machining processes and machine tools for performing the processes. While the basics of the manufacturing processes namely forming processes and basics of machine tools have been studied already in part II Semester III under subject Manufacturing I, the other aspects of non conventional machining processes, the theory of metal cutting will be studies under Manufacturing Engineering II.
