In this course physical classification and Mathematical Classification of partial differential equations along with some traditional solution methods will be studied in detail. Some implicit and explicit finite difference methods with their consistency, convergence and stability analysis will be studied for heat equation, wave equation, Laplace equation and Burgers equation.
