This course is an introduction to the numerical analysis. The primary objective of the course is to
develop the basic understanding of numerical algorithms and skills to implement algorithms to
solve mathematical problems . 

More emphasis should be given on solving actual mechanical engineering problems by using
numerical methods.

This course will cover:

Course Objectives
1. To introduce numerical methods for solving linear and non-linear equations.
2. To apply the knowledge of these methods to solve practical problems with suitable
software.
3. To introduce numerical methods for evaluating definite integrals.
